Monument Street Residence

The clients moved into the existing house in 2015 and the needs of the growing family resulted in a rearrangement of the interior and addition of extra living square footage by converting the garage to an accessory dwelling unit. The interiors were opened up and connected in plan and section. The parents bedroom attic was revealed to create a more generous space and provide a multi-use area. The addition at the kitchen expanded its size to encompass the dining area, both then opening up to the front yard.
